Charged Documentary Film

One moment changes everything.

Eduardo Garcia has always loved food, people, and the natural world.

Just as he began exploring his calling to share those passions with others, he suffered a tragic incident that left him fighting for his life.

In 2011, Chef Eduardo Garcia was shocked with 2400 volts of electricity in a freak incident in the Montana backcountry.  Alone, inches from death and miles from help, Eduardo managed to get to his feet, and took his first painful steps towards what would ultimately be years of recovery and rehabilitation.

Eduardo not only survived, but relearned to thrive. This firsthand memento mori left him with a dogged sense of gratitude, a fierce clarity on what really matters, and a determination to live his truth, each and every day.

I left the shell of the man that I was on the forest floor and took up the man I am and am becoming. And I am an honest man.
